Youth Tennis

REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2023
 
Each summer Hudson Recreation offers various sessions of Youth Tennis Lessons structured around the USTA's Quickstart Tennis format. These group lessons are recreational in nature and our primary goal is to get the participants excited about Tennis! More information, including how to register, can be found using the link below
 
 Occassionally, we also offer more individualized tennis programs for youth, available to those who participate in our group lessons. These individualized and more advanced programs give those who want to compete the necessary knowledge and skills to do so. For those entering Grades K-1
Lesson runs for 25 minutes, Monday-Friday for 1 week; Cost: $40 residents, $50 non-residents.
Offered weeks of June 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7 at 8:30am
Participants in this program will play many tennis related games and participate in activities meant to foster a better understanding of tennis basics, while promoting fun on the court.
Hudson Recreation guarantees 4 out of 5 classes.
 
For those entering Grades 2-12
Lesson runs for 80 minutes, Monday-Friday for 1 week; Cost: $75 residents, $90 non-residents.
Offered weeks of June 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 7 at 9:00am & 10:30am.
Participants in this program may be broken down into smaller groups based on skill level. (self assessed skill level will be asked as part of registration process). Participants will be introduced to various skills and drills enabling them to further develop their tennis abilities. Hudson Recreation guarantees 4 out of 5 classes.
