CONCERT UPDATE FOR JULY 17th
Due to tonight's forecast calling for thunderstorms, tonight's Wood Park Concert, scheduled to feature Elastic Five has been cancelled. We hope to reschedule this concert, but no further information is available at this time.

2024 SWIM LESSON INFORMATION
ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON JUNE 3rd at 10:00am
Lessons are open to both Hudson Residents and Non-Residents
Three (3) individual weekly sessions offered, with lessons held Mon-Fri, between 10:30am - 5:15pm.
Session 1, July 15th – July 19th
Session 2, July 22nd – July 26th
Session 3, July 29th – August 2nd
Class schedule will be identical for all 3 sessions offered. Classes are held rain or shine, but not when lightning or thunder are present, as determined by conditions at Centennial Beach at the time of the lesson. The schedule may change at the discretion of the Recreation Department.
Registration Fees:
Guppies & Minnows, 25-minute lessons, $35.00 (+$10 for Non-Residents)
All other levels, 55-minute lessons, $60.00 (+$10 for Non-Residents)
Parking Passes:
Season Passes are $50 for Residents and $100 for Non-Residents. Season Passes can only be purchased at the Recreation Office, during business hours – contact us with any questions.

Unified Takes the Fun Outdoors
Our Unified program is going OUTDOORS! NEW this spring...Unified Outdoor Games! We're taking Unified outdoors. Each night will consist of various outdoor games, such as Kickball, Frisbee, Wiffleball, among others. The program is designed to offer all children a skill-based, competitive team sport plus an interactive social learning experience. It is open to children/young adults.
Equipment is provided--all you need to bring are sneakers, play clothes, and enthusiasm.
The program will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm-7:15pm at the Cherry Street Field, starting April 30th and ending June 6th.

Register for Spring 2024 Women’s Softball
SPRING LEAGUE IS SOLD OUT! Look for information on potential summer and fall leagues over the coming weeks and months.
Each team will be scheduled for 6 games. Playoffs are not being considered at this time. Games will be 6 innings or 75 minutes, whichever comes first. 10 players on the field at once. Everyone gets to bat. Batters will start with a 1 ball 1 strike count. We will have 1 umpire/game. Additional league rules, guidelines, and expectations will be sent out prior to the start of the season.
Equipment: All players should bring their own glove. Batting helmets are not required. Each team will be provided a face mask for its pitcher should they choose to wear one (not required). Softballs, team t-shirts/jerseys, and at least one team bat will also be provided.
Hudson Recreation is HIRING
Unified Noodleball starts March 7th
Noodleball is a team game similar to deck hockey except that it is played with pool noodles and a soft 5" ball. The program is designed to offer all children a skill-based, competitive team sport plus an interactive social learning experience. It is open to children/young adults.
Equipment is provided--all you need to bring are sneakers, play clothes, and enthusiasm.
The program will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm-7:15pm at the Quinn Middle School, starting March 7th and ending April 11th.
Registration as is open to students in grades K-12+.
Seasonal Employment - Summer 2024
The Hudson Park Commission/Division of Recreation would like to announce that applications are now being accepted for Summer 2024 Seasonal Employment opportunities. Positions available include, but are not limited to: Summer Program Supervisors, Leaders and Aides; Centennial Beach Staff: Waterfront Supervisors, Lifeguards, and Swim Instructors (WSI certificate preferred); Track/Field, Tennis and other various Clinic Instructors; and other part-time seasonal positions as needed.
Applicants should be 16 years of age or older, as of June 1st, 2024. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, March 29th, 2024

The program is designed to offer all children a skill-based, competitive team sport plus an interactive social learning experience. It is open to children/young adults.
Volunteers to help coach and/or assist in managing program logistics are always needed.
Financial assistance is available.

This program will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00pm-7:15pm at Quinn, starting October 3rd and ending November 9th with the following exceptions. The program will not take place on Tuesday, October 24th and Tuesday, October 31st.
Volunteers to help coach and/or assist in managing program logistics are always needed.

Seasonal Employment - Fall/Winter 2023-2024
The Hudson Park Commission/Division of Recreation is seeking individuals Fall/Winter part-time seasonal positions. Positions available may include, but are not limited to Gym Supervisor, Scorekeeper, Referee, and Clinician/Instructor.

Through a generous donation by SMILE Mass, we are excited to announce that our beach has been more accessible than ever before. Beach patrons can now access (advanced reservation required) an accessible beach wheelchair at Centennial beach.
